However, Svatos was in the proper place at the precise time Monday, scoring on a pass from Tyler Arnason in the first period, then the game-winner late in the second. He has 11 goals and 13 assists in 44 games after totaling 26 goals and 11 assists in 62 games in 2007-08. |

Analysis: Svatos scored 26 goals last season despite missing the final 16 games with a torn ACL ligament in his knee and said he felt "pretty good" in his return. He missed the playoffs for the second time in three years because of the injury. "The hands aren't there yet, but it was a good test for my knee," Svatos said. "For my first game in seven months, it wasn't bad." |
