Analysis: Samuel had three interceptions for touchdowns with the Patriots, and didn't take long to make an impact in his first chance with the Eagles. The All-Pro cornerback was bothered by a hip injury in practice this week and listed as questionable. He appeared to aggravate the injury earlier in the second quarter and had to leave the game, but returned on the next possession to make the big play. |

Analysis: "We took him out (and are) just easing him back in," coach Andy Reid said. "He feels good, and I want to make sure he keeps feeling good." Reid said there was a chance Samuel could participate in the preseason home opener against Carolina on Thursday. |

He missed time during the team's workouts last month with a strained left hamstring. If Samuel struggles with the injury, the Eagles will likely use Lito Sheppard in his place. |
